Puppies 6 months and under
Start off on the right paw with our drop off program, and provide your pup with opportunities for socialization, as well as some basic training skills and exposure to novel experiences in a managed, positive environment. Our Puppy Prep Academy builds confidence, promotes crucial social skills, and burns off some excess puppy craziness while learning how to respond reliably around distractions. We offer opportunities to explore new sights, sounds, smells, and textures, managing your puppies exposure to real world scenarios in a safe, controlled environment. .
Our training is focused on socialization, manners, puppy biting and jumping, crate games, exposure to novelty (different surfaces, objects, scents, sounds etc), replicating “real world” scenarios, and building resilience in the face of “monsters” like vacuums, umbrellas, mops, wheelchairs, and other objects that often cause fear.
Each initial puppy session is a 2-hour block, with a 30 minute window for drop off & pickup. Please see below for our drop off and pick up protocol in response to COVID-19. Failure to follow our COVID protocols may result in additional fees or termination of our services.

Drop Off
Morning Session: 10am-10:15am
Afternoon Session: 12:30-12:45pm
If this is your first visit, please text (360) 389-2619 when you arrive, include your name & your puppy’s name. If your puppy has their full set of vaccinations, you can take your puppy out of your car and give them a chance to sniff and have a quick potty break (there is grass across the street and at the side of the building, and a bin in the front of our studio for waste).
Wait for a text confirming clearance to bring your puppy through the side of the building (Franklin Street Entrance). Please do NOT wait outside of our door unless cleared to enter, to prevent dogs stacking up and becoming overstimulated, to allow for appropriate social distancing, and to keep the process as smooth as possible.
For our Team’s safety, please wear a mask when inside our building.
Walk through the door, turn to the left, and go straight down the hall. Our reception staff will be there to greet you!
Our staff will place a slip lead over your puppy’s head, at which point you can remove their collar and harness. Please allow our staff to assist you with this process, they have a lot of practice doing this smoothly!
You will take their gear with you when you go (please let us know if a different person will be picking up, we have limited to space to hold onto client gear).
This slip-lead system allows us to leash up your pup while keeping them safe.
If you would like curbside service, please let us know when you text; include the make and color of your car, and where you parked. Our staff will be happy to assist in bringing your puppy in.
Pick up
Morning 2-hour sessions: 12:30pm-12:45 pm
4 hour & Afternoon sessions: 2:30pm-2:45pm
Walk right up to our front desk when you arrive. If our staff is not there to greet you, we are actively working with the puppies in our care. Please ring the bright green doorbell to the right of our desk, and a staff member will be there shortly to assist you.
For our Team’s safety, please wear a mask when inside our building.
When your puppy is brought to you, please harness and securely leash them. Once securely leashed, our staff will remove the slip lead.
If you would like curbside service, please text (360) 389-2619 when you arrive,including the make, model, and color of your car, and where you parked. Our staff will be happy to assist in bringing your puppy to your car.
Hand sanitizer is available at the front door. We disinfect handles and high touch surfaces in between each guest.
***Please note that hours and pricing are subject to change. A $5 early arrival fee is applied if you arrive more than 10 minutes ahead of your appointment. A $10 late fee is applied for pickup 15 minutes or later beyond your arrival time, and for any pickups after 6pm. ***
